Project - Leading healthcare collaboration platform development

Overview

Comjoo is a healthcare platform that enables collaboration and data sharing between hospitals and clinics in Germany. The platform provides services for streamlining workflows and facilitating remote collaboration on patient cases—critical functionality for modern healthcare delivery.

Team Leadership

As Frontend Team Lead, I took on significant responsibilities:

• Major Redesign Release: Led the team through a complete UI/UX redesign to improve the product's usability and visual appeal
• CI/CD Implementation: Established continuous integration and continuous delivery pipelines, supported by Git-based workflows and code reviews
• Sprint Planning: Collaborated with the project manager to plan sprints, write and estimate tickets, and track progress
• UX Collaboration: Worked closely with the team's UX designer to ensure the app met all business and accessibility requirements

Real-Time Communication

I built critical platform services for communication:

• Chat System: Developed real-time chat functionality for healthcare professionals
• Video Conferencing: Built video conferencing capabilities for remote patient consultations
• WebSocket Framework: Maintained a real-time WebSocket framework built on top of RethinkDB

Mobile Development

I contributed to the mobile version of Comjoo using React Native, bringing the chat and video conferencing features to iOS and Android platforms. This enabled healthcare professionals to collaborate on patient cases from anywhere.
